Cellura Balm is a copper peptide balm built on grass-fed tallow and squalane, with GHK-Cu as the headline active. It is the last step of the night, pressed over everything else.

A copper peptide balm in a grass-fed tallow and squalane base. The last step of the night, pressed over everything else.

What is in it

  • GHK-Cu copper peptide — a copper tripeptide: glycyl-histidyl-lysine carrying a copper ion. Studied for skin repair and firmness.
  • Grass-fed beef tallow — mostly oleic, stearic and palmitic acids. An occlusive that slows water loss.
  • Raw manuka honey — a humectant that pulls water into the outer layer of the skin.
  • Methylene blue — a redox-active dye. An antioxidant at low concentration, and the reason the balm is blue.
  • Vitamin E (tocopherol) — a lipid-phase antioxidant. It also keeps the oils in the base from going rancid.
  • Squalane — hydrogenated squalene. An emollient that slows water loss without the weight of a heavier oil.

How to use

Two fingertips, warmed between the hands, pressed over the face as the final step at night — after Luminé, never before it. Fragrance-free.

Please note: methylene blue is a dye. Let it absorb fully before it meets a light-coloured pillowcase.

90 mL / 3.0 fl oz.
